Damien Somé is the founder of Afrik Eveil, an accelerator and think tank dedicated to youth entrepreneurship in Africa with teams in Accra, Ouagadougou, Paris, Geneva, and Taipei.
He holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Tamkang University, Taipei. He speaks fluently three international languages: French, English and Mandarin.
Damien currently serves Research Fellow at the Africa Progress Panel, chaired by former UN Secretary general Kofi Annan, where he contributes to Panel’s research and advocacy in the areas of energy, climate, agriculture, fisheries and extractive industries.

Ebenezer Kumi’s favorite word is “strive”; and that is what he help SME’s in Africa do: to strive for growth and sustainability. He believe businesses have the greatest potential to offer decent work and reduce poverty in Africa, so he devotes his time designing creative and strategic business advisory services to impact-focused firms in Africa. Ebenezer currently works as the National Focal Point for SEED in Ghana, coordinating and advising eco-inclusive enterprises.
He holds a Master in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, and MBA in Sustainable Businesses from Bologna Business School in Italy.

Benjamin is currently a PhD candidate in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at University of Paris Est., and holds a Master in Management and Strategy from IAE-Gustave EIFFEL (Business School at University of Paris 12).
He works as a junior researcher in entrepreneurship, strategy and management at the University Paris Est Creteil. He is also a consultant in entrepreneurship and development of SMEs for many companies in France and West Africa. He is fluent in French, English and Mooré,

Prosper holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA from National Chengchi University, Taiwan, specialized in International Business and Finance Management.
Prosper relocated back to his home country, Burkina Faso, after his studies and currently works as an International Market Access Specialist for a Taiwan-based company.
He is fluent in French and English and has a working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
Guillaume DABRE is currently studying Diplomacy and International Relations at Tamkang University. At Tamkang, DABRE is a representative of Oxford University Press Politics students’ panel and also an active member of a student club called Alpha League. He is now a fellow from The Resolution Project for winning the Social Venture Challenge at Harvard World Model United Nations, Rome 2016. He speaks three languages fluently - French, English and Mandarin.

Aris is currently a Master candidate in Responsible Citizen Communication, Asset and Sustainable development at the University of Cote d’Azur. He holds twos Bachelors in Modern Letters and Communication & Journalism. He is fluent in Dagara, Dioula, French and English and German.
Mr. Jean-Jacques Kronneberg is of French, Swiss and Cameroonian nationality. He currently runs a Foundation for University Housing. He studied Agriculture, and later Hotel Management and Finance and obtained a degree in Business Administration. After a career in international retail and luxury hospitality, he returned to school to pursue a post-graduate degree in the Management of non-profit organizations. Since 2008, he has been the Director of the Foundation for an International University Residence. He has also launched two companies in the signage and coffee trade.
Diada helps entrepreneurs and businesses fine tune their business models, craft winning marketing strategies focused on customers and markets, and stay financially profitable. He has been active in the African start-up ecosystem for nearly a decade, both as founder, coach and consultant for businesses. He now lives in Silicon Valley where he explores how African entrepreneurs and skilled labor force can better participate in the global economy.
Philippe KABORE is currently a PhD candidate at the joint program of Ottawa University and Carleton
University. His research interests are Labor Economics and Environmental Economics. He has a
master degree in International Development and Project Analysis at CERDI (Université de

Désiré Dabiré lives in Switzerland and is member of the Afrik Eveil Foundation since 2016.
A graduate of the Universities of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, Geneva and Fribourg in Switzerland, he holds a Master's degree in Law (Judicial Law), a DEA in International Law and a Master in Law (Economics and contracts). Désiré is legal councel for more than 5 years in a swiss limited company working in renewable energy and energy services, with more than 2’000 employees and thousands of customers in different languages zones (mainly French and German).

Samson DABIRE is currently PhD candidate in international and constitutional law and
works as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Public Law Faculty of the University of

International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights from the Geneva Academy of
International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (Geneva, Switzerland) and also a
Diploma,in International and Comparative Human Rights Law from The Institut International
des Droits de l’Homme/Fondation René Cassin in Strasbourg (France). He is preparing a PhD
on « States of emergency and derogation from human rights in Africa ». Samson DABIRE
speaks fluently English and French et has basic knowledge in German and Latin.
Métouolé Méda Y. Janvier is expert in green economy and in the development of green and inclusive businesses and value chains. He combines technical support to businesses in various forms, teaching in Burkina Faso universities, academic research and studies for various organizations. Janvier holds a PhD in applied agricultural economics and policy with specialization in natural resources and environment from the University of Ghana. He also holds a Master in Industrial, Rural and Environmental Economics from the University Ouaga II, under the New Interuniversity Post-graduate Programme (NPTCI) in Economics.
